Alongside COP26 outcomes, the UK Environment Act 2021 brings a raft of measures on waste and resources, air quality, water, nature and biodiversity which of course includes Biodiversity Net Gain and the introduction of a mandatory requirement for 10% BNG on most new developments which support objectives to halt species decline by 2030.
